According to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, the Thu Bien - Dat Cuoc road site clearance project (additional) is 12.5 km long. The recovered land area is about 27.8 hectares, affecting 165 cases. The project passes through Thuong Tan commune and Tan Uyen ward. Of which, the project passing through Tan Uyen ward is about 5.2 km long, with a total of about 63 households and organizations affected.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has allocated 549 billion VND to implement the site clearance compensation project. Currently, the units have completed the issuance of land reclamation notices, investigation, survey, measurement, and inventory.
Regarding land prices, the People's Committees of localities have issued them. Currently, there are over 50 cases where compensation plans have been approved with a disbursed amount of about 80 billion VND.
Branches of the Land Fund Development Center are coordinating with the People's Committees of Tan Uyen Ward and Thuong Tan Commune to mobilize people to agree to hand over the site to get clean land for the Thu Bien - Dat Cuoc road construction project.

According to records, the Thu Bien - Dat Cuoc road is currently damaged in many sections. The road surface is deformed, many deep holes appear... The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has issued an official dispatch requesting relevant units to handle the points with deep holes, restore the road surface to be flat, ensuring safety for people traveling.
