On May 2nd, information from the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Construction said that the unit is striving to complete the assigned housing targets.
According to the Project "Investing in building at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period 2021 - 2030", by 2030, Gia Lai province must complete 16,600 apartments; of which, Binh Dinh (before merger) 12,900 apartments, Gia Lai (before merger) 3,700 apartments.
To date, the whole province has been and is deploying about 16,700 units, basically meeting the target by 2030.
In 2025, 742 units will be completed (reaching 100% of the plan); in 2026, the target is 2,000 units, currently the rough construction of about 1,077 units has been completed, reaching 53.85% compared to the assigned target.
From 2025 to now, the whole province has assigned investors to implement 16 projects; including 5 social housing projects and 11 commercial housing projects, with an area of about 1,000 hectares, with a total investment of over 57.545 billion VND.
Social housing prices range from 11.5 - 22.7 million VND/m2; commercial apartments from 23 - 60 million VND/m2; common land plots from 15 - 100 million VND/m2. More than 63,800 apartments, land plots, and detached houses have been traded with a total value of nearly 24,000 billion VND.
To ensure social security and stabilize people's lives, Gia Lai may not consider adjusting or extending the progress, and at the same time revoke investment policies for housing projects (including commercial housing, social housing) that are slow to implement, do not start construction or intentionally extend the implementation time, and do not ensure the approved progress.
