On April 27, the Investment - Infrastructure Project Management Board of Thanh Oai commune (Hanoi) issued a notice to households and individuals with agricultural land recovered to serve the Olympic Sports Urban Area project in Dong Gia village to complete procedures to receive compensation, support and hand over the site.
Accordingly, the payment session is expected to take place on April 29 (Wednesday) at the Dong Gia village cultural house.
Thanh Oai commune requests household representatives to bring their citizen identification card; Certificate of land use rights (original, also known as red book) for comparison when receiving money.
In case they cannot come directly to receive it due to special reasons, they can authorize relatives to receive it on their behalf. The power of attorney must have confirmation from the Thanh Oai Commune People's Committee.
Over the past time, Thanh Oai commune has organized many rounds of compensation payments and site clearance support for many people whose land has been recovered to implement the Olympic Sports Urban Area project.
On April 24, Thanh Oai commune organized the payment of compensation and site clearance support for 150 households whose land was recovered in Cu Than village, with a total payment cost of over 376 billion VND.
The Olympic Sports Urban Area project was started on December 19, 2025, with a total investment of about 925 trillion VND, divided into 4 sub-zones spread over 11 communes in Hanoi.
In the overall Olympic Sports Urban Area project, sub-zone D has an area of 3,742.70ha, located in Thanh Oai, Tam Hung, and Dan Hoa communes.
Thanh Oai commune alone has an area of about 1,485ha, accounting for 39.6% of the sub-area area; the total land clearance area is 841.75ha, mainly agricultural land.
