On May 27, Chairman of Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee - Do Huu Huy directed localities and specialized agencies to resolutely implement solutions to handle land encroachment in the province.
Although the Provincial People's Committee has directed sectors and localities to effectively implement state management of land, this management has recently had many problems. The situation of encroachment on public land, land of projects, and land use for the wrong purpose is still complicated, especially in some areas of Phan Thiet city and Bac Binh district.
In order to rectify the above situation, Chairman of Binh Thuan People's Committee requires the two localities mentioned above to formulate and organize the implementation of the plan to completely handle hot spots on land encroachment in the area. The results must be reported to the Provincial People's Committee before June 15, 2025.
In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also requested heads of departments, branches, sectors, Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to strengthen land management in the province according to Directive No. 08 of 2023.
