AC Milan are considering making an offer to borrow Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Rashford has made it clear that he feels ready for a new challenge after struggling in the last two seasons. After being left out of the squad for the Manchester derby, the English striker had a shocking interview, clearly expressing his desire to leave.
That has led to the 27-year-old being deported by coach Ruben Amorim and Man United are also ready for Rashford to leave. The English striker has returned to the "Red Devils" squad but missed the match against Liverpool last weekend due to illness.
Rashford's return coincides with the January transfer window opening. Clubs are considering recruiting Rashford, with Milan emerging as a candidate to give him a way out of Old Trafford.
According to Daily Mail, the Serie A team is considering a loan deal for this striker. Milan have had a difficult season, but are gradually reviving under new coach Sergio Conceicao.
Milan have problems scoring goals when strikers such as Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are injured. Therefore, they have turned their attention to Rashford as a solution to the attack problem in the second half of the season.
Rashford is said to want to stay in Europe, after refusing the opportunity to move to Saudi Arabia. However, Milan will have to overcome some barriers to sign him.
First, Man United wants to collect £40 million for this 27-year-old player. Rashford's salary requirements are also difficult to meet when he is earning £325,000 per week at Old Trafford.
The "Red Devils" will be willing to accept a loan terms, but with that comes a broken buy deal. Meanwhile, Amorim said last Christmas Eve that Rashford would have to maintain his standards if he wanted to stay at Man United.
"When I feel like this is the right time, I will change something. Until then, I will continue to think about what is best for the team. I talk to Rashford every day, not about interviews but about performances.
He wants to play and is trying. That's my decision, it's just my decision. I'm trying to do things my way. And that is the only way I know, if I don't do it, I will lose myself" - the Portuguese coach said.
