Benjamin Sesko has officially joined Manchester United, along with Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha - new recruits from RB Leipzig - to complete the new attacking trio at Old Trafford.
Each contract is a significant upgrade for coach Ruben Amorim's attack, promising to bring the goals that Man United are eagerly waiting for.
In total, the 48 goals scored by the trio in the Premier League and Bundesliga last season far exceeded the achievements of the entire Man United squad in the tournament in the 2024-2025 season.
Cunha and Mbeumo shone brightly in the Premier League Summer Series final against Everton. But the big question is: How far will Sesko elevate Amorim's attack, and how will he integrate into the current system?

After four seasons fighting in Austria and Germany, Sesko has accumulated enough experience and skills to become a comprehensive striker, converging the qualities of a promising star.
With a height of 1m96 and a playing style heavily influenced by the legendary Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sesko seems to have been born to adapt to the physically rich environment of the Premier League.
His strong pressing ability, impressive jumping power and outstanding aerial strength make him a constant threat in high balls, both in set pieces and in the penalty area.
With more than 55% of his Bundesliga wins each season, Sesko has proven himself to be one of the most formidable strikers in terms of the Premier League challenge.
This strength helps him become useful in many situations. From directly threatening the opponent's goal with headers in the penalty area, to playing the role of attracting long passes, creating a fulcrum for the home team to raise the formation.
Not only is Sesko good at playing at his head, he also shows his good footwork. He often retreats deep to receive the ball during the attack phase, holds the ball well when being approached and is especially dangerous in one-on-one situations.
In the 2024-2025 season, the Slovene player has dribbled nearly 3 times per game, achieving a success rate of 52% - an impressive number for a striker with a large physique.
At the age of 22, the combination of strength, technique and smart mobility makes Sesko a difficult problem for any defense. This also means he will be a direct competitor to Rasmus Hojlund in the race for a starting spot under Amorim.
Hojlund has a clearly different style from Sesko, with strengths in mobility and the ability to move the ballless ball behind the opponent's defense. While Sesko alternates between wall-making and space exploitation, Hojlund tends to accelerate continuously to receive clearance stakes.
However, Hojlund's limitations in the Premier League in the past two seasons have been his ability to challenge the ball and keep the ball under pressure. These are factors that Sesko has shown superiority and can be supplemented from the beginning.

In terms of scoring efficiency, the difference is not too big in the 2024-2025 season. In the context of Leipzig's worst Bundesliga campaign since promotion, Sesko still managed to score 13 goals. In contrast, Hojlund has only scored four goals in the Premier League.
In general, Sesko not only makes a physical difference but also promises to upgrade the "Red Devils" attack, while creating positive competition for a starting position under Amorim.
"He has the characteristics that the team needs. Sesko is really young, he is strong in aerial combat, good at running, good at playing football.
So I think he has great potential. Sesko can improve a lot. Sesko will definitely feel at home at Man United. He has the right personality to integrate into the team. We are really, really happy to have Sesko" - Amorim said about his new student.
