Besides Manchester United, Arsenal have been looking to sign Benjamin Sesko this summer, but have rejected the "cut-off" offered by Leipzig.
Imagine the joy of the German team when an explosive auction between two "big guys" in the Premier League are eager to own a new striker.
Since then, Leipzig have not allowed themselves to fail again. Although Man United's offer was slightly lower than Newcastle's, the Bundesliga team still earned a huge sum of money for a new 22-year-old striker. Remember, Sesko still has a lot to prove at the highest level.
For Man United, at least, this is an upgrade compared to Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish player has been a big disappointment since joining Old Trafford two years ago, when he was expected to solve the "Red Devils" scoring problem. Clearly, coach Ruben Amorim has never really put his faith in Hojlund.

A replacement is inevitable this summer, as Man United's poor finishing in front of goal has contributed significantly to their chaotic recent season. And Sesko is certainly one of the most promising young strikers in Europe today.
However, Man United have once again spent too much money to recruit a " rescue product" of the Red Bull system - similar to the previous Hojlund deal. After all, this is completely different from the famous contract that Manchester City did when recruiting Erling Haaland from Dortmund a few years ago. Remember, Sesko has only scored 13 goals in the Bundesliga last season.
However, the Slovenia striker possesses the ideal physique, strength and speed to shine. Especially when combined with Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo in a completely new attack that Man United are aiming for.
In 2021, when he was just 18 years old, the Slovenia player was offered a contract by coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for just £2.5 million. However, Man United rejected the deal, saying it was too big a risk. And when they have a chance back, they can't continue to miss it.
Sesko wants to join one of the Premier League's top clubs. And no matter what else is said about Man United, they are still big enough to be considered one of them.
There is no denying that Sesko will have a better chance of success if he chooses Arsenal. As everyone knows, Old Trafford has become a nightmare place for young talents for a decade of decline and gloom.

However, when the choice is between Man United and Newcastle, there will be only one team that wins that race. The Red Devils are struggling with problems, especially off the pitch, but they are still one of the most beloved and watched clubs on the planet.
Although Newcastle have a place in the Champions League, Sesko still cannot resist the appeal of Man United.
The transfer fee may be a burden, but Sesko is a strong and courageous player. He certainly realized that, amid the myriad of problems Man United faced last season, the ability to create opportunities is not a concern.
If trusted, Sesko will have enough opportunities to prove his worth at the Theater of Dreams.
