Chelsea are preparing to sell a series of players in the squad this summer to give coach Enzo Maresca the necessary financial resources. The Italian strategist needs to prepare the best squad ahead of the new 2025 - 2026 season.

According to The Athletic, this summer could see the departure of up to 10 Chelsea first-team players. Among those expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer is Christopher Nkunku. The French striker is said to have been in the target market of Manchester United.
Nkunku has struggled to impress since joining the Blues and partying the team this summer is in the plan.
Djordje Petrovic is also about to leave. The goalkeeper is eager to become the number 1 choice and is looking for a chance to leave after being asked to leave the Chelsea squad for the FIFA Club World Cup. Last season, Petrovic had an impressive time playing at Strasbourg on loan.
Other Chelsea players loaned out last season, such as Armando Broja, Ben Chilwell and Axel Disasi, are also allowed to leave permanently.

Carney Chukwuemeka and Renato Veiga are two other players the London club are reportedly looking to sell. In addition, Noni Madueke and Nicolas Jackson may also leave.
