The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will take place from June 15 to July 14 in the US. This is the top tournament in the system of club tournaments of the World Football Federation.
This year, for the first time the tournament was held in a completely new format, the number of participating teams also increased from 7 to 32, from 6 regional football federations.
The teams are divided into 8 groups, competing in a round-robin format. The top two teams in each group will advance to the knockout rounds to find the champion.
Accordingly, the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will have a total of 63 matches, including 48 group stage matches, 8 1/8 matches, 4 quarter-finals, 2 semi-finals and the final match for the championship.
Notably, according to FIFA's announcement, this year's tournament will apply many changes, including "super-fast" offside technology and counter counter for goalkeepers.
