Harry Maguire did not fly with the Manchester United squad for the pre-season tour of the US for personal reasons.
The 32-year-old centre-back came on in the first half of last week's friendly against Leeds, but was substituted in the 74th minute. His absence from the Red Devils' list of 32 players announced on Tuesday for the tour has attracted attention.
It is known that the cause is not due to injury but is a personal problem. However, the English midfielder has confirmed that he will join the team this weekend.
"Everything is fine now. I will leave tomorrow to meet the whole team. Thank you for your concern," Maguire wrote on Instagram.

It is no surprise that Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Marcus Rashford are all not on the list of Man United to Chicago. In particular, Rashford has officially moved to Barcelona on loan, with a broken buy clause.
The remaining players on this list are looking for a new destination. They have been training separately from the first team of coach Ruben Amorim since expressing his desire to leave Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Bryan Mbeumo has been in the squad after completing a transfer from Brentford for a fee that could be up to £71 million.
Two other new players, Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon, were also on the flight to the US.
Lisandro Martinez has been called up to the Man United tour squad, despite recovering from a cruciate ligament injury he suffered in February. According to British media, the Argentine defender is not ready to return to training with the whole team.
Amorim's side have departed from Manchester to their headquarters in Chicago. They will face Bournemouth at Soldier Field Stadium on July 31 in the Premier League Summer Series.

Before that, Man United will open the tour with the match against West Ham at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The "Red Devils" 3-match journey in the US will end with a confrontation with Everton at Mercedes-Benz Arena Stadium in Atlanta on August 4.
After returning to England, Amorim's side will host Fiorentina in their final friendly match at Old Trafford on 9 August, just a week before the Premier League opener against Arsenal at home. Notably, the former legendary Man United goalkeeper, David de Gea, is currently playing for Fiorentina.
