Pre-match information
Ruben Amorim will take charge of his first game as Man United head coach in the away match against Ipswich Town.
The Portuguese will experience the English football atmosphere at Portman Road for the first time. Recently, under interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy, the Red Devils have performed quite well with 4 unbeaten matches.
Amorim will have to deal with a lot of injury problems and need to start changing the identity of the team. The task will not be easy as Man United is still quite far behind the top 4. The trip to Ipswich could be quite ideal, as the opponent has only won 1 match since the beginning of the season and has just escaped the danger zone.
However, Ipswich have just caused a surprise with a 2-1 victory over Tottenham in north London. Their coach, Kieran McKenna, was previously a first-team assistant and youth coach at Man United. He will have certain knowledge of the Manchester team.
