Tottenham Hotspur are proposing to the Government to legally use the £1 billion stadium that was opened last year as a "testing ground" to bring fans back to the pitch. Tottenham's new stadium is known as a multi-purpose location with modern improvements and is spacious enough to maintain social quarantine measures.
Spur president Daniel Levy is very worried about the team's form in the pandemic, with 5 Premier League games behind closed doors. Therefore, he is eager to welcome the audience, even though the number is limited to about 62,303 people.
"What is needed now is for us to work together to find a safe solution to bring audiences back to sports and entertainment venue. We are capable of supporting the development of the latest technologies to make this a reality and help the audience satisfy their passion" Daniel Levy shared.
By quickly improving Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and receiving consensus from the Government, Daniel Levy hopes the audience will soon be able to return to the stadium when the ball rolls back.
