On the afternoon of August 12, TV360 - Viettel Telecom's online television platform has just reached an agreement to own the exclusive broadcasting rights of the Bundesliga football tournament in Vietnam for 3 consecutive seasons from 2025 to 2028.
All 306 matches per season of Germany's biggest domestic football tournament will be brought to fans, while opening up opportunities to connect Vietnamese football talents and Germany's top clubs.
Bundesliga is one of the tournaments with the highest average number of spectators in the world, nearly 40,000 people per match, a significantly higher number than Serie A or La Liga.
Mr. Peer Naubert - Executive Director and Marketing Director of Bundesliga International said: "Over the past 5 years, the number of Bundesliga fans in Vietnam has increased by more than 1/3, demonstrating the country's strong passion for football.
With Viettel's strong media presence and innovation in content delivery, we have the opportunity to expand our reach and bring Vietnamese fans closer to the clubs, players and stories that make the Bundesliga special."
Bundesliga Director for Asia - Mr. Kevin Sim emphasized: "This strategic cooperation will be the starting point to build a solid relationship, thereby promoting the exchange and close coordination between the two football regions of Vietnam and Germany, thereby turning the dreams of young players into reality".
Notably, TV360 will coordinate with the Bundesliga to organize a series of events to connect the football fan community. Through the livestream sessions "See Bundesliga with the stars", fans will join famous guests to share comments, predictions and interactions in the series of 8 shows.
This unit will also exclusively produce and broadcast the series "Journey to Bundesliga", recording the process of young players and coaches of The Cong Viettel club going to Germany to train and experience the top football environment at Bundesliga teams.
