On the evening of August 12, the leader of Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward (Lam Dong province) said that he had found 2 tourists buried in the landslide at Tay Ho coffee shop (alley 108 Hung Vuong street, Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward).
Accordingly, in the afternoon of the same day, many wards of Da Lat City (old) had very heavy and prolonged rain. Meanwhile, a landslide occurred at Tay Ho coffee shop on the embankment, burying 2 tourists (born in 2009, in the old Don Duong district).
After receiving the news, the authorities of Xuan Truong - Da Lat ward quickly deployed the rescue.
The two victims were found but the male victim died; the female victim was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but also died later.
The leader of Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat added that the bodies of the two victims are currently being kept in the hospital, and the authorities are waiting for relatives to come and perform the procedures.
At Tay Ho coffee shop, Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat is coordinating with Lam Dong provincial authorities to release the scene and investigate the incident.
