On the afternoon of December 23, the Vietnam Football Federation held a ceremony to announce the main sponsor and draw lots to schedule the national U19 Women's Football Championship - ACECOOK Cup 2026. 2026 marks the third consecutive year that VFF has coordinated with sponsors to organize the tournament.
Mr. Nguyen Van Phu - VFF General Secretary said: "In recent years, Vietnamese women's football has achieved many remarkable successes in regional and continental competitions. In 2025 alone, 3 Vietnamese women's teams including U17, U20 and the national team will qualify for the 2026 Asian finals.
These positive results show the important role of the women's football tournament system organized by VFF, including the National U19. Through the tournament, many promising faces have been discovered, trained and gradually matured, contributing to clubs and national teams".
Mr. Chau emphasized: "VFF always identifies improving the quality of organizing youth tournaments, especially women's football, as a key task. With careful preparation and support from the main sponsor VFF believes that the 2026 National U19 Women's Football Championship will continue to bring exciting and competitive matches, contributing to improving the quality of expertise and spreading the positive image of Vietnamese women's football".
According to the schedule, the tournament will take place from January 7 to February 7, 2026 with a round-robin format of 2 home and away matches in Hanoi and Ninh Binh. The tournament brings together 5 teams including: Hanoi, Phong Phu Ha Nam, Than KSVN, Thai Nguyen T&T, Ho Chi Minh City.
