Round 13 of V.League 2024-2025 had an early match between Nam Dinh and Hanoi FC on February 5. The team from Thanh Nam won 2-1 to temporarily take the lead.
By February 14, the next two matches had taken place. First is the match between The Cong Viettel and SHB Da Nang. Although rated higher, The Cong Viettel had difficulties against the home team.
After a stalemate in the first half, the goal came in the second half. Surprisingly, Da Nang scored the opening goal in the 56th minute thanks to Phan Van Long. It was not until the 90+5 minute that The Cong Viettel had an equalizer thanks to Nham Manh Dung.
After this match, The Cong Viettel has 22 points, still temporarily ranked 3rd.
The second match is the confrontation between Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh Hoa. Although playing away, Thanh Hoa soon opened the score. In the 7th minute, Thanh Hoa was awarded a free kick and Igor Silva rushed in to volley near the goal, leaving Le Giang helpless.
In the 56th minute, Ho Chi Minh City equalized from Tran Manh Cuong's close-range goal. About 20 minutes later, Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong had a beautiful long-range shot to help the home team take a 2-1 lead.
However, the joy did not last long when Thanh Hoa equalized 2-2 in the 81st minute, also from a classy long-range finish by Doan Ngoc Tan.
With this result, Thanh Hoa is still in 2nd place on the rankings, while Ho Chi Minh City is in 9th place.
