On the afternoon of December 20, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the closing ceremony of the training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national tournaments in 2025 took place.
Mr. Dang Thanh Ha - Head of the VFF Referee Board said that the existing problems have been learned from and new regulations have been added for match supervisors; additional regulations and football regulations for non-professional tournaments have been added for supervisors. Regarding the results, most of the students achieved a good level or higher, showing progress and seriousness in the learning process.
With referee supervision, the training course focuses on improving image analysis skills, applying technology in analyzing situations. Referees are also updated with the latest competition rules, gain practical experience, and are instructed on how to handle difficult situations right on the field.
Based on the report, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Chairman of VFF said, Vietnam Football Federation hopes that non-professional tournaments will become more and more professional, including supervisors, referees...
Through the training course, the Standing Committee of the VFF Executive Committee hopes that match supervisors, referee supervisors, and referees will be equipped with more new knowledge, have more solutions and ways to handle things on the field as well as further improve professionalism in management work.
In addition to improving expertise, further access to technology and foreign languages (especially English) will help supervisors and referees strive towards the goal of participating in officiating in international matches and tournaments.
Previously, the training course on supervision and refereeing of national non-professional tournaments in 2025 took place for 5 days (from December 16 to December 20) with many important contents such as updating competition rules, plans for organizing national non-professional tournaments, non-professional football regulations and updating tournament regulations, drawing experience from supervision and refereeing work from the 2024 season and many discussion contents taken from real situations will be included by the lecturers in the content of the training course.
Immediately after the end of the training course for supervisors and referees of non-professional national tournaments in 2025, qualified supervisors and referees will be assigned to work in non-professional national tournaments in 2025, the earliest of which is the qualifying round of the 2024-2025 National U19 Championship, which will officially open on December 22.
