On the evening of July 13, the CAND Vietnam II team faced Thailand in the semi-finals. The two teams entered the match enthusiastically and created an attractive attacking game.
The home team put on the field the strongest squad with Tien Thanh, Dinh Tung, Duc Nam, Duc Phu, Nhu Tuan... to show off their strength. On the other side, the team from the land of the Golden Temple also used quality cards.
CAND Vietnam II soon took the lead in the 13th minute. From Mai Tien Thanh's cross, Duc Nam cut the cross to head the ball accurately to open the score for the home team.

After that, Thailand continuously put pressure and got what they wanted in the 34th minute. From a corner kick, the No. 61 center back jumped high and headed the ball dangerously to equalize 1-1.
In the second half, the Vietnam People's Public Security II changed some positions to increase the attack and put pressure on the opponent's defense. In the 50th minute, Duc Nam approached the goal but missed a shot, immediately Nhu Tuan successfully rushed in to score a narrow rebound, raising the score to 2-1 for the home team.
Before the match ended, Tien Thanh and his teammates also created many dangerous situations but could not take advantage. However, CAND Vietnam II still won the final score with a score of 2-1.

In the remaining semi-final, the Cambodian and Timor Leste teams brought an attractive performance. The two teams drew 2-2 after 90 minutes of official play, forced to enter a penalty shootout to determine the winner.
On the penalty spot, Cambodia was more confident to defeat their opponent with a score of 11-10, thereby winning a ticket to the final.
The final match between the People's Public Security of Vietnam II and Cambodia will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 15 at Hang Day Stadium.
