On July 13, a representative of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) of Hanoi City Police said that the unit had just successfully rescued 2 tourists who fell into a ravine in Ba Vi National Park.
Accordingly, at about 9:12 a.m. the same day, the Command Information Center - City Police received a report that 2 tourists had fallen into a ravine in Ba Vi National Park.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Command Information Center - City Police quickly mobilized the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 27 and the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 6, the elite Fire Fighting and Rescue Team (Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area No. 2) with a total of 4 rescue vehicles, 1 command vehicle and 25 officers and soldiers to the scene.
According to the police, the area where the incident occurred had steep terrain, trees and deep cracks, making it difficult to approach victims and carry out rescue work.
However, with a high sense of responsibility, overcoming difficulties and the coordination and support of forest rangers, local authorities and people, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force quickly approached, encouraged and reassured the two victims and urgently used specialized equipment, mobilizing a crane of local people to carry out rescue work.
At 10:43 a.m. the same day, Ms. D.T.T.H (born in 1971, in Vinh Hung ward, Hanoi) was safely rescued. The victim was conscious but could not move on his own, suspected of leg injury.
