On the morning of October 27, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF), the Organizing Committee of National Professional Football Tournaments, issued an urgent announcement about postponing the match between Da Nang and Hai Phong clubs in round 5 of V.League 2024-2025.
Accordingly, based on the updated information of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on the situation of storm No. 6; based on the content of the telegram No. 06/CD-UBND dated October 26 of the People's Committee of Da Nang City on responding to storm No. 6 (storm Tra Mi), the V.League organizing committee decided to adjust the match schedule of Da Nang - Hai Phong from 18:00 on October 27 to 18:00 on October 28, 2024.
The tournament organizers request the match organizers, Da Nang club, Hai Phong club and related members and departments to update information, closely coordinate and strictly implement the instructions and requirements on safety and storm prevention of the authorities and local authorities of Da Nang city.
At the same time, seriously implement the content of match preparation, organization and rain and storm prevention; ensure full preparation and organization of the match according to the adjusted schedule; continue to monitor, contact and promptly report to the tournament organizing committee any arising incidents for coordination in handling...
According to the update, this morning (October 26), storm Tra Mi is still a few dozen kilometers from Da Nang, level 9-10 (maximum 102km/h), causing very heavy rain in the Central provinces.
It is forecasted that at 10am to 11am today, storm Tra Mi will make landfall in the Thua Thien Hue - Da Nang - Quang Nam area. The provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Quang Ngai will be directly affected by the storm.
