On November 13, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to coordinate with Dai Binh Prison to re-measure the entire current land area to complete land procedures.
Bao Lam District People's Committee was assigned to inspect and handle illegal construction on prison land and clarify the responsibilities of organizations and individuals involved in the illegal issuance of 7 land use right certificates (red books).
According to the conclusion of the Provincial Inspectorate, Dai Binh Prison was assigned to manage 118.26 hectares of security land since 1976. However, currently, only about 94 hectares remain in reality.
Of which, 4.29 hectares have been granted red books by Bao Lam District People's Committee to 7 households, including many illegal constructions.
The responsibility for issuing incorrect red books belongs to the People's Committee of Tan Lac commune, Loc Thanh commune and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Bao Lam district during the period 1999 - 2004.
The provincial inspectorate also requested to check the responsibility of the Dai Binh Prison Wardens through the periods for not actively recovering the occupied land.
Lam Dong Province has requested Dai Binh Prison to file a lawsuit in court to cancel the wrongly issued land use right certificates.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment was assigned to guide Dai Binh Prison to complete legal procedures to ensure the unit's legitimate rights.
