Goalkeeper Filip Nguyen expressed regret after the 2-2 draw with Buriram United in the first leg of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 final.

On the evening of May 14, at Hang Day Stadium, Hanoi Police Club was held to a 2-2 draw by opponent Buriram United in the first leg of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 final.

Coach Polking's team took the lead twice but were equalized by the Thai team.

Speaking after the match, Filip Nguyen said: "It's a pity for the goals we conceded. The whole team practiced very well yesterday, but it was a pity to have to endure this result.

Today the whole team played well, we created opportunities but did not convert them into goals. Not winning at home is a disadvantage but we will try our best in the second leg.

Regarding the refereeing work in this match, the Hanoi Police goalkeeper said: "That is the difference between referees in international matches and V.League. They will have different behaviors. I respect the referee's decision in this match."

According to the match schedule, on May 21, Hanoi Police will visit Buriram United in the second leg of the Southeast Asian Cup C1 final. This will be a huge challenge for Filip Nguyen and his teammates.
