In the draw results on October 17, the Vietnamese women's futsal team is in Group D with Taiwan (China), Macau (China) and Myanmar in the qualifying round of the 2025 Asian women's futsal tournament.
Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team will meet host Myanmar, Macau (China) and Taiwan (China) on January 15, 17 and 19, 2025.
Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said that the Vietnamese women's futsal team will face difficulties in the opening match against host Myanmar. He said: "The next two matches will be against Macau (China) and Taiwan (China), opponents whose level is not much better than ours. The Vietnamese team will try to achieve the best results in this group."
The Vietnamese women's futsal team is in the final stages of preparing for the Southeast Asian tournament in the Philippines at the end of November. Thanh Hang and her teammates will have two international friendly matches with the quality Russian women's futsal team on November 8 and 10 at the District 8 futsal club gymnasium (HCMC) before leaving for the competition.
Sharing about the team's goal at the Southeast Asian women's futsal tournament, head coach Dinh Hoang said that the Vietnamese women's futsal team strives to reach the finals, while also preparing for the long-term plan of the Asian qualifiers.
