According to Lao Dong's report on the afternoon of December 29, "black market" tickets for the Vietnam-Singapore match were being sold at prices 1.5 - 2 times higher than the original price.
Accordingly, tickets worth 500,000 VND are sold by ticket brokers at 800,000 - 1,100,000 VND; tickets worth 600,000 VND are sold at 1,000,000 - 1,200,000 VND/ticket. These are also the 2 ticket categories that are sought after by fans because of the beautiful stands and easy viewing of the match.
Tickets priced at 300,000 VND (stands C, D) are sold for around 500,000 - 700,000 VND.
It is predicted that ticket prices will show signs of cooling down near match time, between 7pm and 8pm today (December 29), but there will not be many good grandstand tickets left.
Previously, on December 27, the local organizing committee opened ticket sales directly at the gate of Viet Tri Stadium. Many people lined up from early morning, even the night before, to wait to buy tickets. However, by around 10am the same day, the tickets were sold out.
On December 22, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) also sold tickets online for the Vietnam - Singapore match and they were sold out after only... 15 minutes. This proves the appeal of coach Kim Sang-sik and his team in this tournament.
Vietnam has a big advantage after a 2-0 victory over Singapore in the first leg of the semi-final. Quang Hai and his teammates need a draw or a win to qualify for the final of the ASEAN Cup 2024.
The match between Vietnam and Singapore takes place at 8:00 p.m. today (December 29).
