On the morning of January 4, Ninh Binh club officially departed for Singapore for training during the V.League 2025-2026 temporary break, making way for U23 Vietnam.
According to the plan, in addition to the regular training plan, Ninh Binh FC will have 2 more friendly matches with Lion City Sailors and Albirex Niigata clubs.
Through these matches, coach Gerard Albadalejo will experiment with tactics, squads, and also help players train their fighting spirit before entering the next important rounds.
After 11 rounds, Ninh Binh FC is leading the V.League 2025-2026 with an unbeaten streak (8 wins, 3 draws). However, they are being closely pursued by Hanoi FC Police when they are only 1 point behind and playing 1 match less.
Therefore, the training trip in Singapore is even more important for the ancient capital team during the mid-season break.
In the recent transfer window, Ninh Binh FC recruited quality new players, Truong Tien Anh (The Cong Viettel) and Hoang Thai Binh (Dong A Thanh Hoa). The appearance of these players will help Mr. Gerard Albadalejo have more personnel options on the wings, increasing the strength of the squad.
Round 12 of V.League 2025-2026 will return on January 30th. Ninh Binh Club will face Hanoi Police at Hang Day Stadium in a match to determine the top spot in the group.
