Nam Dinh Steel Club continues to show its excellent form in V.League 2024-2025 when for the second time in the season, it won all 3 monthly awards.

On the afternoon of June 12, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) announced the results of the May award voting. It was not beyond the expectation that Nam Dinh Steel Blue once again "conquered" 3 important titles including: Best team, Best coach belonged to Mr. Vu Hong Viet, and Best player for foreign player Brenner Marlos.

In addition to Nam Dinh's 3 titles, the Best Goal of the Month award went to Nguyen Van Quyet of Hanoi club with a goal in the 45+1 minute of the match against Ho Chi Minh City in round 23.

This is the second time this year that Nam Dinh has won this award. Previously, in February, the team from Thanh Nam was also honored in all 3 categories similar to the achievements in January.

Nam Dinh's excellent performance in May was the decisive factor for the above achievement. The team won all 12 points after 4 rounds, with convincing victories over Hanoi (3-0), Thanh Hoa, Song Lam Nghe An, and especially a big win over Hoang Anh Gia Lai with a score of 6-1.

Foreign player Brenner became a bright spot with 5 goals and 5 assists, contributing greatly to important victories and showing impressive form worthy of the most prestigious individual award of the month.

The important victory over Hanoi also helped Nam Dinh move one step closer to the V.League championship this season. Currently, they are leading the rankings with 51 points, 5 points ahead of Hanoi, and 12 points behind Hanoi Police in 3rd place.

If they do not lose in the match against Quang Nam on June 15 in round 25, coach Vu Hong Viet and his team will be crowned early, regardless of the result of the match between Hanoi and The Cong Viettel.
