Center-back Do Duy Manh said the Vietnamese team must concentrate highly in the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final against Singapore.

At noon on December 28, captain Do Duy Manh was the designated player along with coach Kim Sang-sik to attend the press conference before the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup semi-final between the Vietnamese team and Singapore.

In the first leg, the Vietnamese team won 2-0 thanks to goals from Tien Linh and Xuan Son. However, according to Duy Manh, despite having a 2-0 advantage, the Vietnamese team still has to maintain high concentration because the second leg will be very difficult.

"In tomorrow's match, the Vietnamese team will have to concentrate at the highest level and follow the coaching staff's tactics. Not only me but the whole team must try to play well. Many people may think that tomorrow's match will be easy, but for us it will be difficult," Duy Manh shared.

The captain of the Vietnamese team said that the whole team will try to achieve good results to respond to the expectations and attention of the fans.

"I know Vietnamese fans queued up to buy tickets. As national team players, my team and I need to focus on the second leg of the semi-final, then think about the final. Our support is Phu Tho's audience and the whole country's support, that is the best motivation to go out and contribute," Duy Manh said.

The second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore will take place at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow (December 29) at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho province).
