On January 3, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee chaired a meeting of the special working group of Hanoi People's Committee to remove difficulties and obstacles, effectively support businesses, investors and investment projects in the city.
According to the report of the special task force, as of January 2, the departments and branches have completed 32/52 assigned tasks. Since the end of the 5th meeting, the City People's Committee has continued to receive recommendations from investors.
As of January 2, 2025, there were 76 petitions from 64 investors, all of which had written instructions to departments, branches, and units to review and report.
At the meeting, 3 projects were brought up for resolution this time: Bao Ngoc high-rise social housing project in Thach Ban ward (Long Bien district); investment project to build a general hospital combined with a community health care center in Dan Phuong and Phuong Dinh communes (Dan Phuong district) and housing construction project for officers and soldiers of Department B05 - Ministry of Public Security in Dai Mo ward (Nam Tu Liem district).
These three projects are facing problems related to land allocation and transfer procedures, as well as investment policies, which have lasted for many years.
At the meeting, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh discussed with businesses, investors, relevant units and localities about the actual situation of each project.
At the same time, direct departments and branches to coordinate with local authorities to organize inspections, reviews, and thoroughly resolve arising problems under the authority of the units.
Regarding difficulties and problems beyond the authority, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh requested the Office of the People's Committee to synthesize and promptly report to the Government and the Prime Minister's special working group for consideration and resolution, ensuring benefits for people and businesses.
