The Vietnam women's futsal team received a "hot" award from VFF after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2025 Asian futsal tournament.

On the morning of May 9, the Vietnam women's futsal team continued to have an impressive performance against the Philippines in the group stage of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship. Thanh Hang, Thu Xuan and Thanh Ngan scored in turn to help the home team defeat their opponents with a score of 3-0.

With a 5-3 victory over Hong Kong (China) on the opening day, the Vietnam women's futsal team is the first team to reach the Asian quarter-finals after only 2 matches.

In response to the positive achievements of the Vietnam women's futsal team, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation, President Tran Quoc Tuan sent his congratulations to coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team, and awarded the whole team 200 million VND.

This is a worthy reward for the efforts of the Vietnamese girls, as well as a motivation for Thanh Hang and her teammates to continue competing and contributing in the remaining stages of the tournament.

In the immediate future, Vietnamese women's Futsal team will prepare for the match with Iran in the final match of the group stage, which can be the top of the table and the opponent in the quarterfinals.

If they continue to maintain their form, coach Dinh Hoang's team will move closer to the goal of winning a ticket to the FIFA Futsal World Cup.
