On the afternoon of May 8, the Vietnam futsal team had an active training session to prepare physically and professionally for the match against the Philippines tomorrow (May 9), within the framework of the second round of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship.
Before the training session, player Thanh Ngan said: "I have prepared mentally and mentally to be most comfortable and am currently 100% focused on the upcoming match. My goal and the whole team's goal is to win all 3 points against the Philippines".
Previously, in the opening match, Thanh Ngan had an impressive performance with a hat-trick against Hong Kong (China), thereby helping the Vietnam futsal team win 5-3 in the opening match.
However, facing the Philippines in the next match is not easy for coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team. Although they lost 0-1 to Iran in the opening match, the Philippines has somewhat proven their strength.
"I have faced the Philippines women's futsal team at the Southeast Asian tournament. The team's squad is quite quality and has a methodical playing style. This will definitely be a much more difficult match than the match against Hong Kong (China)," Thanh Nhan emphasized.
Currently, the Vietnam women's futsal team is maintaining a stable training pace. After that, the team will have a meeting to deploy tactics and analyze the opponents carefully before the important match.
The match between the Vietnamese women's futsal team and the Philippines will take place at 10:00 on May 9 (Vietnam time). If they win, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team will move closer to the goal of passing the group stage of the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship.
