After the victory over India in the opening match of the 2026 Asian Cup, the Vietnamese women's team quickly returned to training on the morning of March 5 (local time) to prepare for the next match of Group C against Taiwan (China).
The training session took place in hot weather conditions when the temperature at the competition venue (Australia) exceeded 35°C. However, the players still completed all professional contents set by the coaching staff, focusing on maintaining fitness and recovering after the previous match with India.

According to the weather forecast of the organizers, the next match of the Vietnamese women's team in the afternoon of March 7 may take place in temperature conditions up to about 38°C. This is a factor that can significantly affect the fitness of the players throughout the match.
To cope with harsh weather conditions, the team's medical department has implemented many support measures. Team doctor Luong Thi Hien said that the medical team has prepared electrolyte drinks for players to use before, during and after the training session to replenish minerals and limit the risk of dehydration. Fast cooling devices are also arranged in advance for use during breaks between exercises.

In parallel with that, the medical team also regularly reminds players to maintain the habit of drinking water even when not training, and at the same time strengthen the diet, supplement vitamins and essential micronutrients to support the process of physical recovery.
The coaching staff assesses that adapting to hot weather is an important factor in the process of preparing for the matches at the tournament. In the context of a dense schedule, recovery and fitness maintenance are being prioritized to help the Vietnamese women's team have the best condition before entering the next match of Group C.
