U22 Vietnam received a bonus of 2.5 billion VND after winning the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

U22 Vietnam ended their journey at the 33rd SEA Games in an emotional way when they made an excellent comeback to defeat U22 Thailand with a score of 3-2 in the final match, thereby winning a gold medal.

Against a fateful and highly rated opponent, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team were not shy despite being behind, continuously increasing the pressure and taking advantage of opportunities to turn the situation around.

This dramatic victory not only brought home the SEA Games championship but also demonstrated the bravery and resilience of Vietnamese youth football.

After this impressive achievement, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) decided to give the U22 Vietnam team a bonus of 1 billion VND. This is a worthy reward for the players, the coaching staff and the support team behind.

In addition to the award from VFF, U22 Vietnam also received great encouragement from individuals and accompanying businesses. Accordingly, Mr. Pham Hoanh Son - Chairman of Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club rewarded the team with 1 billion VND and sponsor Acecook Vietnam also awarded 500 million VND.

Thus, the total bonus that U22 Vietnam has received after winning the 33rd SEA Games championship updated to date is 2.5 billion VND.

Not only U22 Vietnam, the Vietnam Football Federation also paid attention to the national women's futsal team after the 33rd SEA Games gold medal. Accordingly, VFF decided to reward 500 million VND to recognize the efforts and persistent competitive spirit of female futsal players, who have made an important contribution to the overall achievements of Vietnamese football.
