On October 11, within the framework of the training and competition trip in Abu Dhabi (UAE), the U23 Vietnam team visited and exchanged with the Vietnamese Embassy in the UAE.
Here, Acting Head Coach Dinh Hong Vinh and his students were warmly welcomed by Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Diep and all staff of the Embassy in a warm atmosphere.

On behalf of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the entire team, Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh sent his sincere thanks to the Embassy, especially personally Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Diep for always caring for, supporting the spirit and living conditions of U23 Vietnam since going to the UAE for training.
Coach Dinh Hong Vinh also shared information about the team's preparation process, strategic orientation and long-term goals, especially the two upcoming important tournaments, the 33rd SEA Games and the 2026 U23 Asian Cup finals.
He affirmed that with investment from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the General Department of Physical Training and Sports and VFF, the team has been well prepared, continuously since September 2024 with many quality international training and friendlies. The whole team will play their best to bring pride to the country's football.

As for Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Diep, he was happy to meet the team and highly appreciated the spirit and will of the young players. The Ambassador expressed his confidence that U23 Vietnam can completely reach out in the continental arena, even aiming for the World Cup in the future.
On the same afternoon, U23 Vietnam continued to practice to prepare for the second leg of the friendly match with U23 Qatar, scheduled to take place at 22:00 (Vietnam time) on October 13 at 321Sports Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
