After arriving in the UAE, U23 Vietnam quickly settled down and rested to recover their physical strength after a long flight.
In the morning (October 8), the coaching staff held a light training session right in the hotel campus. The purpose is to help players relax their muscles, release energy and gradually get used to the weather conditions as well as the new time zone.
The practice atmosphere took place in a comfortable and exciting atmosphere, showing the serious spirit and high concentration of the whole team.
On the same afternoon, U23 Vietnam will have the first tactical training session in this training session, preparing for the friendly match with U23 Qatar taking place at 19:00 (local time), or 22:00 (Vietnam time) at 321Sports Stadium.
Before the training session, coach Dinh Hong Vinh will have a professional meeting with the whole team to discuss the competition strategy and select the right lineup for the match.
The match with U23 Qatar is one of two friendly matches within the framework of the training trip in the UAE, organized by the coordination between the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the Qatar Football Federation.
This is an important opportunity for the coaching staff to review the force, perfect the playing style and experiment with tactics for the U23 Vietnam team, towards the 33rd SEA Games and the 2026 U23 Asian Cup finals.
