Vietnamese and Thai fans both have separate ticket areas for the two ASEAN Cup 2026 finals, with quotas determined according to Article 73.1 of the tournament regulations and different ticket prices depending on the venue.
In the first leg at Rajamangala Stadium on August 22, the stadium has a capacity of about 51,000 seats. Article 73.1 stipulates that the home team must reserve at least 8% of the stadium's sold capacity for away team fans, in a separate area and ensure safety.
If all 51,000 seats are counted as seats that can be sold, 8% is equivalent to 4,080 tickets for Vietnamese fans. However, the official number must be based on the actual capacity allowed to be sold after excluding areas that do not serve the audience.
Tickets for the first leg are sold by the host country with 5 price levels, from 200 to 500 baht. The area for Vietnamese fans is announced at 500 baht/ticket, equivalent to about 400,000 VND.
In the second leg at My Dinh Stadium on August 26, the quota calculation method is applied similarly. The stadium has a capacity of about 40,000 seats, so if all seats are determined to be seats that can be sold, 8% is equivalent to 3,200 tickets for Thai fans.
Ticket prices for the final match at My Dinh Stadium are announced by VFF with 4 denominations including 500,000 VND, 800,000 VND, 1.2 million VND and 1.5 million VND/ticket.
The actual number of tickets sold may be lower because the charter is calculated based on the capacity available for sale, not the announced maximum capacity of the stadium. Article 73.3 also stipulates that the away team must be responsible for all purchased tickets, even if they are not used up; and the ticket price for this group must not be higher than the price of the equivalent ticket sold to the general public in the host country.
