Accordingly, the Hanoi Textile and Garment Trade Union organized a dissemination of legal knowledge and industrial cultural lifestyle for 200 union members and workers of Truong Xuan Shoe Company Limited and Xuan Ngoc Production and Trading Company Limited.
These are two companies in Cam Thuong Industrial Cluster, Ba Vi District, specializing in the production of shoes and sandals for export. The total number of employees of the two units is over 700 people; female workers account for 80%.
Most of the workers here are local workers, with limited legal knowledge and cultural level because this is a mountainous commune. This is also one of the units that has built a Cultural Activity Center for Workers of the Hanoi Textile and Garment Trade Union with a housing area for workers from far away.
In the program, union members and workers were informed of the basic new points of the Labor Code. The content on labor discipline and material responsibility of workers was focused on to help workers gain more legal knowledge and awareness of labor discipline, thereby forming an industrial labor style.
The organizers also prepared 20 gifts for the most active students and those with the most correct answers. With an easy-to-understand way of communication and increased positive interaction, difficult-to-remember legal knowledge was absorbed and enthusiastically exchanged by union members and workers, becoming their own knowledge.
