On the evening of September 14, after 2 months of competition with many exciting rounds, Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 ended with the final victory belonging to Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen (born in 1996, from Nam Dinh).

Beauty Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau, born in 1994 from Tay Ninh, attracted attention after winning the highest position at the Vietnam's Next Top Model 2016 contest.
In 2018, Ngoc Chau continued to challenge herself in a beauty contest. In August 2018, in Seoul, South Korea, Ngoc Chau was crowned Miss Supranational Vietnam 2018 and won the right to represent Vietnam at Miss Supranational 2019.

Three years later, a contest called "Miss Vietnam 1999" hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Information was held once only, to find a Vietnamese representative to participate in the Miss Friendship of ASEAN contest held the same year.
At this contest, Miss Thien Nga registered and once again won the highest title.
In the Miss Friendship of ASEAN contest held right at home, Thien Nga won the final runner-up position.
