Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union said that this is the first time the Tournament has been organized at the Group level, with the participation of 10 football teams from units in EVN. This shows the spirit of positive response, the deep concern of trade union levels and units for the sports movement, as well as the increasingly affirmed role and position of EVN female officials and employees.
The football tournament takes place in 2 days, March 26-27, is a practical activity to celebrate International Women's Day March 8; celebrate Vietnam Sports Day (March 27) and is part of the Action Plan for Workers' Month 2026 of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, contributing to spreading the spirit of sports training, improving the spiritual life of female officials and employees throughout the Group.
Through the Tournament, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union not only creates a useful and healthy playground but also strengthens the exchange, solidarity, and attachment between units - in line with the spirit of "Healthy to work well - Solidarity to develop - EVN female officials and employees are dynamic, brave, and shine".
