During Workers' Month 2024, the VNR Trade Union organized the 2024 Retreat Program for more than 400 union members with outstanding achievements in union activities and in production labor; Vietnam Railways Trade Union and professionals coordinated to support 450 workers in difficult circumstances, with children with disabilities or serious illnesses; visited and encouraged 586 individuals and 46 groups to overcome difficulties and resolve railway traffic incidents; awarded 2,400 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, total amount of over 1.82 billion VND.
Vietnam Railway Union also organized water purifiers, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, badminton and volleyball courts, etc. for 36 points, totaling nearly 1.5 billion VND. Trade unions and professional units visited, gave gifts, encouraged and supported 3,151 workers in difficult circumstances with a total cost of 1.99 billion VND; Supporting the provision of 822 equipment to improve working and living conditions (such as water purifiers, televisions, refrigerators, air conditioners, steam fans, communal kitchen utensils, volleyball courts, badminton courts... ) with a total budget of 5.12 billion VND; The entire industry organized 95 cultural and sports activities with the participation of 338 units, departments, and 3,806 participants.
