Hanoi - On September 11, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the Decision to appoint Mr. Mai Le Loi to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, term VI, 2023 - 2028.

Attending the ceremony were: Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Canh Tinh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Shipping Lines; Le Anh Son - Deputy Party Committee Secretary, General Director of VIMC; Doan Thi Thu Huong - Permanent Deputy Secretary of VIMC Party Committee.

Decision No. 106/QD-TLD of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor signed by Chairman Nguyen Dinh Khang clearly states: Appointing Mr. Mai Le Loi - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Secretary of the Party Cell of VIMC Logistics Joint Stock Company to join the Standing Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union, term VI, 2023 - 2028.

Awarding the Decision and congratulating Mr. Mai Le Loi on being assigned the important responsibility, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang suggested that the new Chairman of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines should maximize his capacity, intelligence, and strengths; always cultivate, cultivate, learn, constantly strive, overcome difficulties, overcome challenges, and excellently complete the tasks assigned by the General Confederation, the VIMC Party Committee, and union members and workers.

Speaking at the Decision awarding ceremony, Mr. Mai Le Loi affirmed: "In my new position, all the experiences and experiences will help me to connect the practice of corporate governance and operation with the way of organizing and implementing the labor movement, trade union activities to properly and promptly meet the aspirations of union members and workers and successfully perform the functions of the Trade Union organization in the new situation...".

The new Chairman of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union also respectfully thanked the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, and the Executive Committee of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union for their trust, assignment of new tasks and responsibilities, and expressed his desire to receive the solidarity, unity and support of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the Trade Union Agency of the Corporation to be able to successfully complete the assigned tasks, best care for union members and workers, and build the Vietnam National Shipping Lines Trade Union to become increasingly stronger, contributing worthyly to the sustainable development of Vietnam National Shipping Lines and the Vietnam Trade Union organization.

Mr. Mai Le Loi - Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VIMC Logistics Joint Stock Company - a maritime service enterprise under the Corporation, is a well-trained cadre with a doctorate in the field of Logistics, has many years of experience in the Maritime industry, has held many positions; has many outstanding achievements in corporate governance and operations at VIMC.

During his Trade Union activities, Mr. Mai Le Loi has two terms of membership in the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, with deep understanding of union members, workers and the labor movement, Trade Union activities of the Corporation. In any position, he constantly strives, improves, strives and completes assigned tasks well.
