On August 28, Mr. Phan Thanh Binh - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Vietnam Airport Aviation Services Joint Stock Company (NASCO) said that in Noi Bai (Hanoi), 31 NASCO officials and employees have registered and performed blood donation.
Each person has a different position, a different task, but they meet in a spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community.
According to him, each unit of blood given is not only a part of the donor's health. Behind it could be a patient waiting for reinforcement, an emergency case in need of blood, or a family looking forward to more hope.
Therefore, voluntary blood donation has long been not only a social activity but has become a beautiful gesture, showing the spirit of mutual affection and responsibility of each individual towards the community.
On August 28, NASCO union members and employees will continue to participate in blood donation at the facility in Bo De ward (Hanoi), when 8 officials and employees of NASCO Logistics Company - a member unit of NASCO - and the Corporation participate in the "Vietnam Airlines Pink Drop" program.
Celebrated for 10 years, "Vietnam Airlines Pink Drop" has become a meaningful activity actively responded to by officials, union members, and employees throughout the Corporation.
In 2026, in addition to voluntary blood donation activities, the program also organizes health care and counseling activities, contributing to raising the awareness of health care of each union member and spreading a responsible lifestyle towards the community.
With NASCO, social responsibility does not necessarily start from great things. It could be an official temporarily putting aside work for a few minutes to register for blood donation; colleagues encouraging each other to participate; or simply being willing to give part of their health to someone they have never met" - Mr. Binh shared.
