This is a sports event for union members, workers and family members for the first time organized by the Vietnam Bank Union, aiming to create a healthy and useful playground; improve health and spiritual life; and spread the good values of Vietnamese families in the new era.
The tournament has the participation of nearly 700 athletes from 25 units in the banking industry, competing in 8 competition categories, including: Couples under 40 years old; couples from 40 years old and over; father-son pairs U12-13; father-son pairs U14-15; mother-son pairs U12-13; mother-son pairs U14-15; leadership exchange in men's doubles and leadership exchange in mixed doubles.
Especially besides the competition contents, the Organizing Committee also implements many accompanying activities for union members, workers and family members, including: Specialized seminar "Let children love books in the digital age", contributing to spreading reading culture in families; booths introducing books, educational products, household appliances...; health care and counseling programs with clinical examinations, ultrasounds and relaxation therapies experiences...
The selection of Pickleball - a modern, dynamic and strongly developing sport in Vietnam - shows the spirit of innovation and creativity of the Vietnam Bank Union in diversifying activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers.
Not only is it a sports tournament, Family Cup 2026 is also a festival of family affection, where union member families and workers interact, connect and create memorable memories. Through the tournament, the Vietnam Bank Union wishes to continue to cultivate the spirit of solidarity and attachment throughout the industry, contributing to building a happy, humane and sustainable working environment.
The tournament organized by the Vietnam Bank Union also has the meaning of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Bank of Vietnam (May 6, 1951 - May 6, 2026), the 25th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2026) and celebrating the success of the XIV Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Tien Dung - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Award said that in recent years, the Vietnam Bank Union has always paid attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers through many practical and meaningful activities. In which, cultural, artistic, and sports activities have become an important bridge, contributing to strengthening solidarity, attachment, building a positive working environment and spreading human values throughout the industry.
This year's Vietnam Bank Pickleball Family Cup is of special significance as for the first time the Vietnam Bank Union organizes a sports tournament exclusively for union members, workers and family members.
This is not only a playground to train health and improve physical fitness, but also an opportunity for union member families to exchange and nurture the good values of Vietnamese families. Thereby, creating more motivation for each official and employee to feel secure in their work, stick with agencies and units and continue to contribute to the development of the Banking industry.
