Speaking at the closing ceremony, Governor Pham Duc An affirmed that the Contest is an important event, contributing to improving knowledge, consolidating the spirit of solidarity and arousing the aspiration for innovation in the team of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers throughout the industry. The Contest is not only a useful playground but also a milestone showing the determination of the Banking industry in proactively adapting to technology trends, promoting digital transformation to become deeper and more substantive; it is also an opportunity for units in the industry to promote their image, culture and brand to the social community.
The Banking Industry Digital Transformation Contest is organized in the context that the entire Sector is actively implementing key tasks on science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation in the spirit of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. This is also one of the key and practical activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Banking industry. Not only meaningful as a movement, the contest is also an opportunity to concretize the national digital transformation orientations throughout the system.
The Governor highly appreciated that this year's Contest is organized in a modern, practical and in-depth direction. From the form of staging, applying technology in competition to knowledge content covering key areas of digital transformation such as digital data, platform technology, information security, management and operation and customer experience.
The Governor acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of the Vietnam Bank Union and upper-level grassroots trade unions, grassroots trade unions in accompanying professionals to deploy the Contest and spread the movement of learning and understanding digital transformation knowledge throughout the industry. Through the Contest, the trade union organization continues to affirm its role in not only caring for the lives of workers but also actively participating in the implementation of key political tasks of the industry in the new context.
After a day of exciting and tense competition with 32 teams going through 3 rounds of competition: Round 1 - Kết sức mạnh; Round 2 - Chinh phục kỷ nguyên số; Round 3 - Kiến tạo tương lai số, the Judging Panel has scored and announced the official results.
The 2026 contest not only inherits the values from the 2024 contest with the theme "Green banking for green life", but also marks the strategic shift from "Greening" to "Digitalization" - a dual strategy for the banking industry to develop sustainably in the new era.
Creative ideas from the Contest will continue to be researched and realized by units, actively contributing to the national digital transformation process.

- Consolation prize (5 teams): Includes Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Bank Union and cup.
- Third prize (3 teams): Including Certificate of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and cup.
- Second Prize (2 teams): Includes Certificate of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, cup and sign symbolizing the prize value.
- The first prize belonged to the Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank Team with prizes including a Certificate of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, a cup and a symbolic sign of the prize value and 150 million VND.
- The Special Prize belongs to the Vietnam Foreign Trade Joint Stock Commercial Bank Team with prizes including a Certificate of Merit from the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, a trophy and a sign symbolizing the prize value and 200 million VND.
