With the facilitation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, implementing the direction of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on visiting and giving gifts to workers in Thanh Tri area (Hanoi), the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union organized the giving of Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances at the following units: Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences; Forest Planning and Investigation Institute; Construction Electromechanical Corporation - JSC; Vegetable and Fruit, Agricultural Products Corporation.
Each gift includes 1,000,000 VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND; the total gift is worth 3,000,000 VND.
Minister Le Minh Hoan directly presented Tet gifts and encouraged union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Along with the activity of giving Tet gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, Minister Le Minh Hoan visited the project model "Applying Korean technology to produce disease-free potato varieties and developing a sustainable potato value chain in Vietnam".
To take care of union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union has issued a decision to support 1,379 union members and workers with an amount of VND 1,394 billion and directly organize the implementation of "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" in 2 regions; directly give 249 gifts to 249 union members and workers in difficult circumstances, expected on January 15, 2025 in Phu Tho and January 19-20, 2025 in the Central Highlands (each gift worth VND 1,000,000 - VND 1,500,000).
Implementing the direction of the General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Agricultural and Rural Development Trade Union has allocated 623 vouchers to union members and disadvantaged workers, each voucher worth VND 500,000 to purchase goods on the e-commerce site "Union Tet Market".
