Accordingly, in order to implement the program to support the construction of Trade Union Warm Houses phase 1 in 2026, the Trade Union of Hon Gai Coal Selection Company organized a delegation to survey the actual housing conditions of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The delegation directly visited and surveyed two worker families including: Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong's family - worker of KB Department and Ms. Le Thi Cham - worker of Lang Khanh 2 Port Warehouse Workshop.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong and Ms. Le Thi Cham have both worked at the Company for over 10 years, always striving to complete the assigned tasks well. However, the family's circumstances are still difficult as they still have to live in temporary rented accommodation. Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong is undergoing periodic dialysis treatment, and life is facing many difficulties. For Ms. Le Thi Cham's family, both husband and wife are workers, with limited income, facing many difficulties in accumulating to build their own houses...
In addition to conducting field surveys, the working delegation also disseminated the guidelines and policies of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Trade Union and the Company's Trade Union on the "Trade Union Shelter" support program, and at the same time provided specific guidance on the necessary procedures and dossiers for workers to complete and submit to competent authorities for consideration and approval.
