This is one of the programs and events in a series of practical activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam National Coal Corporation, now Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (October 10, 1994 - October 10, 2024) and the 88th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Mining Workers - Tradition of the Coal Industry (November 12, 1936 - November 12, 2024).

At the program, Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union (TKV) said that since its first organization in 2009, the program "Glory to miners" organized by the TKV Trade Union has always received positive, enthusiastic and effective response and participation from workers, cadres and employees in the whole industry.
TKV Trade Union has commended and rewarded over 1,000 excellent workers and good managers in the production and business fields of the Group, who are advanced examples with many contributions to the development of the Group and the unit, and have been spreading the spirit and inspiring the patriotic emulation movement among cadres, union members, and workers day and night, with the spirit of creative work, dedicating intelligence to the development of the enterprise, for a TKV Group of Companies to develop more and more sustainably.
According to the leader of TKV Trade Union, the program "Glory to Miners 2024" was chosen with the theme "30 years of creativity - productivity - high income", affirming the 30-year journey of workers and TKV Trade Union attached, accompanied, nurtured, promoted the movement of miners, patriotic emulation, encouraged workers to promote their creativity, dedication, join hands, and create strength and brand VINACOMIN.
At the 2024 Miners' Glory program, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union selected and honored 95 advanced, exemplary, and excellent workers and 30 excellent, dynamic, enthusiastic, and dedicated managers and union officials; selected from construction sites, workshops, departments, and units, representing nearly 100,000 miners; a symbol of 95 years of pride, tradition, and glory of the Vietnam Trade Union organization and a symbol of 30 years of development and growth of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group.
“The miners who are honored and brought glory today may be direct workers, managers, or people who “eat at home, carry prison and the whole village”, but they are all simple but noble examples, making efforts, doing practical work, no matter what position they are in, they are dedicating themselves, spreading positive energy at their workplace, contributing to building the TKV Industrial Group to develop sustainably, constantly grow, entering a new era, the era of national growth” - Mr. Le Thanh Xuan commented.
