On November 21, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Medical Trade Union coordinated with the Ministry of Health to organize the final round of the contest to disseminate the results of the movement "Innovation in service style and attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction" and the solution of phase 2 "Understanding, dedication - Upgrading, innovation".
Previously, the grassroots competition at the affiliated grassroots trade unions and the health sector trade unions of provinces and cities took place from June 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024. At the end of the grassroots competition on propaganda results, the Organizing Committee received 97 videos from units to participate in the Industry Final. After the Preliminary Round, the Organizing Committee selected 30 outstanding units.
Speaking at the contest, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Lien Huong acknowledged and highly appreciated the active and persistent support of the Vietnam Medical Trade Union and the Ministry of Health in the movement to innovate the service style and attitude of medical staff.
In particular, the leaders of the Ministry of Health also highly appreciated the initiative of the Vietnam Medical Trade Union in organizing a Video Contest to promote the results of the implementation of the plan "Innovation in service style and attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction".
"This is truly an initiative, a form of competition that has a positive and effective propaganda effect. The video can be kept for a long time so that units in the industry can promote and enhance their brand and preserve it for the entire industry.
In the coming time, the Ministry of Health hopes that all levels of the Vietnam Health Trade Union will continue to deploy this movement more widely, so that the movement becomes a self-movement of all union members and workers in the health sector," said Ms. Huong.
At the same time, the Deputy Minister of Health also suggested that in the coming time, the Vietnam Health Trade Union should continue to promote awareness, understanding, and sense of responsibility of officials and civil servants in the health sector, unanimously build a friendly medical facility, enhance the spirit of self-awareness, empathy, and sharing to implement the theme of phase 2 "Understanding, Dedication - Enhancing innovation".
In particular, further improve professional ethics, promote professional style, dedication in communication and patient service; practice communication skills in the medical environment, strengthen patient trust and satisfaction.
The Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union needs to advise the leadership to develop internal regulations to reward and commend collectives and individuals who perform well in order to promptly motivate and encourage positive factors with outstanding contributions in building and developing the innovation movement in the unit and industry.
Ms. Pham Thanh Binh - President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union - hopes that the contest will be a playground for sharing experiences of units to learn from each other good solutions and good practices so that each hospital will become the pride of each province, city of the health sector, the Ministry of Health and the people.
After the competitions, the Organizing Committee awarded First Prize to 2 units: Bac Ninh Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital; Hue Central Hospital.
The two units that won the Second Prize include: Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital; National Children's Hospital.
The 6 units that won the Third Prize include: Central Geriatric Hospital; Can Tho Central Hospital; Ca Mau General Hospital; Lac Thuy District Medical Center (Hoa Binh); Lai Chau Provincial General Hospital; Friendship Hospital.
