Mong Cai City needs to recruit 282 teachers and staff in the education sector. Including 51 preschool teachers; 148 primary school teachers and staff and 83 secondary school teachers and staff.
Application period is from October 16, 2024 to October 29, 2024. Each candidate can only register to submit 2 applications for different positions.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Mong Cai City, as of the closing date of recruitment records at the end of October 29, 2024, there were only 62 cases of applications submitted to register for the exam. Thus, there are still 220 missing applications; not to mention the screening process, do the 62 applications above meet the requirements of the local recruitment criteria?
Currently, some other districts, towns and cities in Quang Ninh have expired the application submission deadline; some continue to receive applications for recruiting teachers and staff to work at public preschools and general education institutions for the 2024-2025 school year.

The most lacking subjects are still Technology, History - Geography, Natural Sciences and special subjects such as: Information Technology, Foreign Languages, Arts (Music, Fine Arts).

There is a paradox that when recruitment is very difficult, the education and health sectors are always among the sectors that are most heavily downsized.
Reason: based on the regulation that each year, provinces and cities must reduce at least 10% of the number of public employees receiving salaries from the state budget, so localities also apply the above rate to public units. Meanwhile, the labor force of the education and training sector is always the largest, so 10% will be a fairly large number.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the entire Quang Ninh education sector is short of 2,579 workers, of which 1,737 teachers are short, spread across most subjects, grades, and levels; the biggest shortage is primary school teachers, English teachers, Information Technology and Technology teachers, Arts teachers...
To gradually resolve the above situation, at the 19th Session in July, the 14th People's Council of Quang Ninh province passed a resolution deciding that the number of labor contracts in public preschool and general education institutions with regular expenditure guaranteed by the State in Quang Ninh province in 2024 is 1,145 labor contracts.
In addition, the People's Council of Quang Ninh province also passed Resolution No. 213/NQ-HDND on approving the addition of 238 public preschool and general education positions in Quang Ninh province in 2024.
