Hot water and soap
One of the simple and highly effective ways to remove advertising stickers or decals on cars is to use hot water and soap.
First, boil a sufficient amount of water, about 1 - 2 liters. Prepare a basin of soapy water by mixing hot water with a little dishwashing soap. Use a clean cloth, dip it in the basin of hot soapy water before applying it to the surface of the sticker for about 5 - 10 minutes.
This will soften the stickers and then gently scrape them off the surface of the car using a cloth or plastic knife. Be careful not to use metal knives to avoid scratching the paint surface.
Once the sticker or patch has been removed, wash the glass surface with soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.
Use specialized glue remover
Specialized adhesive remover is a safe choice to remove advertising stickers or decals without damaging the surface of the car. Therefore, look for specialized adhesive remover solutions at auto accessory stores.
Spray the adhesive remover onto the surface of the sticker to ensure it covers the entire area of the car that needs to be cleaned. Let the solution soak for a few minutes, then use a soft cloth or plastic knife to gently scrape the sticker off the surface of the car.
The cleaning solution will help soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove. Once the stickers have been removed, rinse the surface with soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.
Use isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar
Isopropyl alcohol and white vinegar are both good adhesive removers . Use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar on a cotton pad or clean cloth and apply it to the surface of the patch for a few minutes to soften it.
Once the glue has softened, use a cloth or plastic knife to gently remove the sticker from the vehicle surface. Next, wash the surface with soapy water and dry with a soft cloth after the sticker has been completely removed.
