In the new issue of the Vietnam Family Shelter program, the circumstances of Pham Thi Loan 2008 in Bac Giang and Nguyen Thi Linh (2008) in Vinh Phuc made many audiences cry.
Talking on the program, Loan said she felt very sorry for not having a father, often wondering why her family was not as complete as her friends. However, around the 6th and 7th grades, I gradually accepted that.
Actor Truong Minh Cuong expressed his emotion when witnessing the character's situation. He also lost his father early, so he understands how Loan's younger sister feels. When I was 12-13 years old, I realized that I would never have a father anymore and had to try to take care of my family. I sympathize with what the two of us Loan have gone through, the actor confided.
Actor Truong Minh Cuong was moved when he saw himself in Linh's situation. The actor lost his father at the age of 7 and understands the emptiness of children lacking patriarchal love. I was a person who was often placed in a position about my childhood and about an imperfect home like everyone else. But then I gradually accepted and healed my wound, he said.
More than anyone else, the actor understands the feelings of children who have lost their father sooner and do not have a complete family: When I was young, whenever something happened, I always wanted to have a father by my side to share and help, but that never came true. When my friends encountered difficulties at school, my father came to them to solve or defend them, but I didn't. At those times, I felt very sorry for myself, just wish I could have that simple thing. On important occasions such as the semester exam or the transfer exam, I also crave a word of encouragement from my father. There are times when I am sad, I just hope someone, my father, will sit by me and share. Since I was a child, I have clearly experienced the absence of patriarchal love".
He said that his childhood was not only lacking in affection but also overlapped with material difficulties. Since he was a child, Truong Minh Cuong had to help his mother take care of him, and work with his mother to earn money to make ends meet. "My childhood was associated with taking care of my child and my family, not having much time to play like friends. I always have to carry everything with my mother. There are times when life is too difficult, seemingly insurmountable, but the mother and daughter encourage each other to try. We hide sadness inside, and continue to strive every day. The family did not have many relatives, so I soon realized that if I had not saved myself, there would be no one to do it for me, the actor shared.
The actor of the movie "Flip Side 7" believes that difficulties are the motivation for him to try harder in life. Coming to the Vietnamese Family Shelter, he wanted to share his experiences with the children, while contributing a part of their strength to help them overcome difficulties.
